I know this kind of cat is common and there are probably all types of personalities! But out little Pumpkin was a brute from the start. He stood out from the pack of kittens. I heard later that you should never choose the cat that stands out like that lol. True, he is a little aggressive...likes to play rough and scratch furniture....but he can also be very loving. A lap-cat when he wants to be. He has calmed now that he's older. And unfortunately he recently developed cancer. He lives with my ex and is very well taken care of. He is going through chemo. :(

He was practically a dog...would listen, fetch, stay. He communicated very well. We has a suspicion we was a mix with Siamese even though he looked purely orange! He is very smart, has loud vocalizations, and likes high places! We bought a few climbing structures.

I would say he's fairly easy maintenance, and in this case...spoiled! :)
