Arie is my angel cat. I have a "special needs" dog, but Arie basically takes care of herself. I have had multiple people threaten to steal her away from me because she is so wonderful.
Arie is more on the lazy side so she rarely causes the trouble I often hear other cat owners complain about. I've never had any issue with her clawing the furniture or using the restroom anywhere but her cat box. Her laziness does have a downside in that she gets chubby very easy. We have to be very strict on her diet or she will totally balloon up. She is a very quiet cat expect at meal time in which she meows constantly until she is fed, the chubster.
Arie does not shed hardly at all, which is a huge plus to me. She gets along well with my dog and is clearly the boss the in the relationship. She loves other people, especially men, for some reason.
I would recommend this breed to anyone thinking about getting a cat. She is great companion that requires very little effort on my part. I adore her.
