American Shorthair Review

Tigger was bitten by a dog as a kitten, and lost her left front leg as a result. At first she was the meanest cat I've ever had, but I attribute this to her pain level. Once we had her leg amputated, she calmed down quite a bit. She still bites once in a while, and I try not to let her too close to our baby, but considering what she's been through I understand. She's sweet only to me, and only curls up in my husband's lap when mine is unavailable. She has a sensitive stomach, and although we buy gentle cat food, she still gets sick more often than I'd like. She's very intelligent; you can see it in her eyes. Biting aside, she's a great cat, and I'll never find another like her.
