I got Pablo when he was about a month old and he wandered into a field near where I lived. I rescued him and he has been by far the best cat I have ever owned (which is saying something, since I've had more than a dozen.) He was an outdoor cat who lived in a ranch environment and he was a very good hunter, he was very good at keeping the local rodent population down.

Unlike many barn cats he had a very winning personality, and he would follow me everywhere I went whenever I was outdoors. He would accompany me whenever I fed the livestock, when I went for a walk, or even when I'd go jogging! He was very affectionate, and a great pet! He generally got on well with other cats, and would even groom the ones he was particularly friendly with.

On the negative side, he never got along well with dogs, in fact he was very afraid of them, and will hiss, become aggressive. When playing he would sometimes bite playfully as well. Although very good with kids, I was always cautious with aggressive kids since he'd bite playfully when his belly was rubbed. He also would tend to overeat a little if fed too often, though not excessively so.

Overall a very good pet, a good mouser, who got along well with people and other cats.
