There seems to be a divisive line between 'cat people' and 'dog people'

Cats are really great pets for some people. Maybe a lot of people. I am not one of those people.

After we got Nashi, we found out that I’m allergic to cats. That’s not Nashi’s fault, but it’s a good thing to know before owning an animal.

My experience with cats is that they have a wide range of personalities from feisty to lazy. Nashi is a lazy fat cat. She has a weight problem and we constantly have to monitor how much she is eating and give her special food for cats that lean to the voluptuous side.

Overall, she isn’t a bad cat, but I’ve just never clicked with her (maybe because of all the sneezing) and I wouldn’t get another cat. A plus to cats is that they tend to be very apartment friendly and independent so they’re great for young people that work all day and don’t own their own homes.
