I love my cat. He is mostly quiet and very sociable. He loves to be petted and often sleeps right on top of you or beside you. He is a cuddle bug. The only time he meows is when he wants to be fed in the morning, and then, he is merciless about it and does not care if you're sleeping or not. Besides that, he often hisses or meows at cats outside of the window, but mostly he just stares at them with interest. I've been assured by the shelter that he is friendly to other cats, as they tell me that he was rescued from a cat hoarder.

Like most cats, he hates bath time, but he also sheds a lot and cannot keep up with it himself though he is a short hair cat, so he needs to be brushed.

If you are looking for a playful cat though, he isn't very playful. I only found out recently that the only thing he WILL play with are these rubber dog chew toys and wine corks. He also doesn't like to have his stomach rubbed and will kick and scratch, but I think that's because he came from a place where there were about a dozen or so cats and was not played with as a kitten. He's very loving, and I believe he'd have been more playful had he been raised differently, but I adopted him at 5 years old.
