Merlin is a great can, but sometimes he's too smart for us. We've never "trained" a cat to do any tricks, but we make sure our cats can live with us, our children, and our dogs and other animals. Merlin loves to cuddle and relax. At night, we hear him bouncing around the house, playing with cat toys and sometimes other things.

Merlin likes to have his way. He's been known to jump in the baby's crib if we sleep too long. Wake the baby up, then we get up and feed him. See what I mean by too smart?

That said, our family wouldn't trade Merlin for anything. Merlin has personality. He is stubborn, but also friendly. He sleeps in our laps and in our bed, but he also plays. As he ages, he's slowing down, but he still has plenty of spunk, and still plenty of attitude.
