I had a good experience with this animal. I got him when he was a kitten and he took to my family immediately. My children were very young at the time, and he often slept in their beds and enjoyed playing with them. He liked to climb up our wallpaper, so we had his front claws removed - problem solved. He was an indoor cat, and was clean and easy to care for. As he got older, he spent a lot of time be himself - I think the kids were too much for him once he matured. We also had a small dog at the time - the dog would often tease him, which would usually end badly for the dog. The biggest problem we had with him was his litter box habits. If the litter box had anything but litter in it, he would use the bathtub or one of the sinks as a potty. I eventually left a small amount of water in each sink and tub - problem solved. Overall, he was very friendly and enjoyed attention. A great addition to our family.
