When we first moved up here we got a cat which we named Whisper. She had a liter of kittens and they were all very adorable as kittens are. There was one that I was drawn to and he was a beautiful cat with a an orange and white coat that formed a shape that reminded me of a fireball so I named him Fireball. He was a very independent cat but he would always come back and sit on my lap at the end of the day. He would sleep on my window sill sometimes and wake me up in the morning, sometime if he was out too long i would hear him outside my window wanting to come in and i would let him in and he would then proceed to lick my face and take his place on his sill. Out of all the kittens in the litter he was mine and he knew it. We shared many joyous years together until one day, like most common ends to pets his independence came to an end and he was hit by a car just a few blocks from my house.
