Every cat is unique and has its own quirky personality. Cats are great apartment pets, for people that are not home that often and very busy. They are extremely low maintenance, there is no litter training, and don't always want your attention. They're happy to see you when you get home but get over it soon afterward. Cats are good for people with confident personality, who will not be hurt if your cat doesn't feel like being around you every once in a while. A con of having a cat is that it's very hard to untrain a bad habits, such as scratching furniture or crying at the door. Also, their hair goes everywhere, no matter how often you brush it, and somehow manages to weave itself into fabric. I hand raised the cat that I have now and despite his weird personality I love him the way he is.
