Shadow Boxer the Cat

Shadow Boxer was very playful. She got her name because about ten minutes after she was let out of her carrier, she began trying to catch her shadow. Eventually, we just called her Shadow. She had a soft, completely black coat. She didn't get along well with other animals, and the entire time we had her she would run from the dog we had at the time. One night, we heard barking and my Mom opened her bedroom door to see what the two were up to. Shadow bolted through her door, and out of her open window. We never saw her again. In the time we did have her, she was friendly with children, people, and didn't try to run outside too often. She loved to sleep by my head at night, and I'd never seen her try to scratch anyone for petting or holding her. We've had a few cats since then, but she was my favorite.
