Had her from a baby and is almost human

I rescued her from a former co-worker that was going to throw her away because she came from a mom that just had a litter (I work in NYC so cats are mainly used for chasing rats.) I wasn't a cat person but once my co-worker brought her to me I fell in love. I do not recommend getting a cat a week from when it was born. It was very hard trying to keep her alive without the mother. She is two years old now and doing great. She responds when her name is called (which most cats don't), very playful but she realizes when she is too rough, and very protective over little children.
I would say the only downfall is she can be extremely lazy sometimes and when she gets in the mode she does not like to be bothered. Other than that my cat is amazing and almost human :)
