Ygritte & Razzy

I have had two Domestic Short Hair cats, one of whom I currently own (Ygritte) and one of whom passed when I was younger (Razzy). DSH cats are awesome. They both are very strong personalities and are very independent, but they have their soft sides. Ygritte comes and sleeps on me every morning for an hour or so, but otherwise is quite aloof (though she is very young). Razzy got much more friendly as she got older. Healthwise, they are very strong cats. They seem to have a bond with me as owner, but of course it never is as loving as dogs. While Razzy was a plain black cat, Ygritte is beautiful tortoiseshell – ginger, tabby, and brown with white socks. I definitely recommend DSH cats, especially because they are not as interbred as some of the fancier breeds (Persians, etc) so they are more hearty and have fewer psychological issues.
