My short-haired tabby was given to me by a friend about 4 years ago after being found under a car with her family. From the minute I held her I knew she was one of the sweetest cats I had ever been around. A couple of great things about Pearl, 1) She will let anyone hold her no matter what. As long as you know how to cradle her just right and love on her she will be your best friend. 2) She is very gentle - I have never seen her freak out, scratch, jump, claw, or do anything unexpected. 3) She is extremely easy to groom thanks to her short hair and her ability to clean herself. I have never had to take Pearl to the groomer or even brush her in excess.

If I had to talk about the negatives it would really be the neediness of the cat. I'm not sure if it is because of her breed or because I've always paid her so much attention but Pearl is in constant need of someone to pet her, love on her or feed her. She meows frequently and as soon as she sees that I am moving in the mornings she is right on top of me. Otherwise this cat is precious.
