Katie was given to us from a neighbor who rescued her from a farm. Overall she is a great cat but she does have her quirks and moments.
Katie is quite aggressive with our other animals. She'll swat and hiss at the dogs even when they're not doing anything to her. She even does it to the other cats on occasion. She is very friendly with people though. She doesn't enjoy cuddling but does love to be petted and hang out in the same room as you.
Katie is overweight but hasn't had any health issues related to it. She likes to eat though and will meow and bug you until there is food in her dish.
She's a very smart cat. She knows her name and will meow when you talk to her.
She has a lot of hair and does shed. I find that it is best managed if she's brushed frequently and bathed on occasion as well. Although she's not a fan of either of those things and will let you know that.

Katie is a great cat in her own unique way. She loves her family and brings a lot of joy to our family.
