A Wonderful, but Needy Cuddly Companion

My American Shorthair is by far the best cat I have ever had, though she does come with some maintenance. I have never had such a cuddly, loyal, and docile cat. She is relatively lazy and quite rotund, so she especially likes her belly scratched. She does, however, cry out incredibly loudly when she is ready for food early in the morning, and often suffers from slight separation anxiety when I am just a door away, though she is fine when I go out on errands and on vacations. All and all, she is a wonderful addition to our family and, as long as you don't mind the occasional brushing every now and again, you will find no better companion than a shorthair.
