Emmie is the Best

I got Emmie (Ember) from the shelter. I had three cats prior to getting her. However, through the course of time, two of them had died and I was down to one and I wanted Jezebel (now deceased too) to have a buddy. She was so lonely when Meffie died. She went around the apartment looking for him. It tore my heart to the core. So I went and got her a playmate, but ended up getting two more. HA.

Emmie was an older cat when I got her. She was perched up on a cat tree looking out the window and I just immediately was attracted to her. She has been one of the BEST cats I have ever owned. She is on the bed with me all night and loves my lap. I will miss her dearly when she leaves me. Her presence is so pronounced in the house.
