Joey is a very nice cat indeed. He's a large cat, with very big paws. He's extremely friendly with everybody (cats, dogs, humans, rabbits, foxes....). He's everybody's favourite cat! Joey's best friends are "Dylan", the neghbour's dog (they have been playing together ever since Joey was a tiny kitten. Dylan gives Joey piggy back rides, lots of kisses, and they play "hide and seek" and "catch" together. They go to eachother's houses too). Joey is also good friends with Lucy (my other cat) and Charlie (whom I adopted. Charlie used to live across the road, but his family couldn't care less about him, so he moved in with us!).
Joey has a couple of major issues: he tries to befriend foxes. The foxes usually bite him, giving him severe infections. He needs to be rushed to the vet as soon as that happens (but you can't usually tell if that has happened until his abscess explodes, which is a late stage of the infection). And poor Joey is allergic to meat! If he eats meat, he gets nasty scabs all over his body. He scratches them, so they bleed, get infected, and he needs to be rushed to the vet to get a cortisone jab. Joey can't eat cat meat from stores, meat which people eat in the house, or meat in the form of prey. So, if he catches a bird, I have to confiscate the bird asap, before he eats it and gets his allergic reaction. Joey can eat fish, so he eats lots of tuna and rice. This is why I gave him a grade 3 for maintenance and care, and for his cost to own - his cortisone jabs and emergency visits to the vet can be expensive. But I don't think that his whole breed has those problems.
Joey is also a very happy cat - he skips to say hello to people, which is very cute :)
