Boise is an interesting cat. His name is the same as the capital of Idaho but it is in reference to the fact that he came from a house of 6 cats where he was the only boy cat, so he was named Boise. From these roots of so many cats, Boise became kind of a recluse and will hide away in places for hours but still loves attention from the family and other people when he is around. He absolutely hates other dogs and cats and will hiss at them and try scratching them. He is declawed on his front claws so it doesn't hurt them but it is not good for him to have other animals around.
Boise has a feline form of IBS so he can only eat certain flavors of cat food and this has only gotten worse with age but we're used to it so it's not that bad. He sometimes throws up and has hairballs though because of the IBS though.
Overall, Boise is a very sweet but reclusive cat. He's good if you want an animal that will hang around you but not get in the way of work or school.
