My Babies: Duane, Bob, and Fifi

My friends and family are constantly making fun of me and calling me a crazy cat lady because of how much I love my three cats: Bob, Duane, and Fifi. My family owns a farm, and has several barn cats, but these three cats are cats that I found in the barn and fell in love with and took into the house to live. They are so sweet and happy and loving, they are all a could years old and are still very energetic and playful. There's a myth going around that cats aren't affectionate pets, and don't show their owners any love, but I believe that is completely bogus! My cats run to greet me when I come in the door, fight with each other over who gets to sleep in my bed, and would sit in my lap all day if I let them. They are very easy to care for, I fill their food dish once a day, change their litter box every other day, and occasionally buy them a new flea collar, other than that they take care of themselves! I highly recommend an American Shorthair for any one who is in the market for a simple "beginner pet."
