My girlfriend found this cat in next to a Jack In The Box as a little kitten. It was lost and all alone. The kitten kept trying to enter the restaurant but was repeatedly swept aside by the owner. My girlfriend rescued the kitten. We've had her ever since. She is quite the lap cat. No matter what you are doing she will come over and seek out your lap to sit in. Very friendly. Whenever at home, doing anything (cooking, reading, writing, watching a movie) this cat will come over and bump her head into your leg, hand, head (whatever she can find) and push, seeking affection. When our son was born, Tuxie would constantly stand guard over him as he slept. Even when he was being bathed in the tub, she would oversee the proceedings from the sink. And as our son began to crawl and show his affection by hugging and squeezing Tuxie, she, to my surprise, never once scratched or bit him, but endured his love, bravely.
