Linus and Lucy

I've had a decent experience with two cats of this breed, named Linus and Lucy (after the characters in the Peanuts comics). Lucy came first. She was my first pet at about nine or ten years old. She was indoors all the time, and we got her declawed. Maybe a couple years after Lucy came to the family, we got another cat we called Linus. He was sweet. He was outside a lot of the time, but Lucy didn't like Linus whenever he was indoors.I'm not sure if declawing her just made her mean, or if it was the fact that he was male, or just the fact he was a new cat.

I suppose by themselves (and fully clawed), these kinds of cats are fine. Maybe furniture scratching may be an issue. I can't remember if it was problematic with Lucy. I believe she tried, but being declawed, I wouldn't think she did much damage.
