These cats are super lazy--they'll have no problem what so ever with napping the day away, cuddling with you while you eat, sleep, watch TV, do homework. They just want to be near their owners and snooze. They're sometimes really active at night, and will run around the house like crazy cats until they tire themselves out. These cats were adopted and are both inside cats, so they don't have the problems that come with letting your cat go outside.

Sometimes over-eager strangers will scare them, so children need to be taught how to approach the cat. Once they're used to a person though, they'll happy come over for pets and head scratches. One warning though: a lot of people told me that when they go on vacation, they just leave a lot of food and the cats only eat when they're hungry. This is very not true. These cats eat as long as there's food there, so be careful with portion sizes, and never think you can leave them alone at home while you go on vacation (this is just not safe, period).

There's a risk they'll scratch your furniture, so if you're really attached to your stuff, then you might want to think about getting another pet. You could try to look at your local shelter for a cat that's already been declawed (but I definitely wouldn't recommend doing it to a cat who still had its claws). They also shed on everything--if you get a cat, invest in less black.

I'd highly recommend this animal to someone who works a lot and needs a pet that can take care of itself during the day and wants to cuddle at night--they won't disappoint you!
