Calicos have unfounded reps!

Bandit came to me not the other way around! I went to the Humane Society to get a playmate for my other cat. There were about 10 kittens that were all Calicos that had to be from the same litter as they all looked identical. I walked around for about 30 minutes and this one followed me from the time I got there until I said "Well lets see you". I picked her up and she started purring from that minute on, so I took her home! My vet says that Calicos have attitudes and can be cranky but you couldn't prove it by mine! She got an infection when she was de-clawed and never put up any fuss when I had to put medicine in her and on her. She was happiest when she could curl up on my lap or in my bed. She did have one very bad habit though, whenever she was in bed with me she wanted to sleep as close to my head as possible and would purr in my ear, sometimes even licking it! But she was as lovable as a cat could be! She was also very inquisitive and sometimes got stuck in strange situations like the cold air vent! Over all I would have another Calico if I were in the position to have pets again.
