Joy, Our Calico Cat (Sight Impaired)

Most people like cats, I've always loved them. Many have been my companions through life. Then I met Joy. She was a tiny kitten, found seriously injured. A vet fixed her up. She lost one eye and is mostly blind in the other one. Yet, she amazes me. She runs into things in the dark, so we leave a light on for her at night. Joy figured out how to get up on the rail of our deck, 15 feet off the ground! She walks that rail like any other cat, even stepping over the bird feeder. Joy inspires me to be more than I am. Never underestimate a less than "perfect" pet. You might be surprised!
