While officially Kali is my little brother's cat, she likes me more than anyone else in the house and loves to cuddle with me. She's extremely friendly and when we got her she was already used to dogs allowing her to become a member of the family with ease.

Just like any other cat, she loves playing with string and the laser pointer but she's too lazy to do it for more than 5 minutes at a time. He favorite toy is crushed ice cubes. If you slide it along the floor, she'll chase it and smack at it until it either melts or gets hit under the oven.

She's very cute and lays on me all the time without ever really scratching me. For some reason that we have yet to been able to decipher, she absolutely despises my mom. She bites my mom, scratches my mom, and refuses to go anywhere near her despite all the attempts to love her and all the times my mom has fed her.

Kali is mostly independent and loves to go outside, but when she gets tired she likes to sleep in a box in my room (we bought her a bed but naturally the cardboard box is much more appealing.)

She's fairly quiet and really only meows when she wants outside or to be fed and it doesn't take much to get her purring. It's kind of hard to recommend a specific breed of cat as a pet because you really have no idea what kind of cat they'll be until you have them in your home, but as far as this cat goes, I like her and would certainly hope everyone else could find a cat this nice.
