While I have had a few breeds of cats, i have to say that I am biased towards the American Short Hair. They are amazing cats, very friendly and adorable. They like the whole family and are good cats to have around anyone. Like any animals they can react adversely if you accidentally mistreat them but are, for the most part, extremely well behaved. It is recommended to get them spayed or neutered so that they do not spray around your house. They are a very versatile breed, able to be both indoor and outdoor cats.
