Life with Chubs

Until I adopted my black cat I had only owned pets like lizards, hamsters, etc. My mom and I decided to adopt two cats and the minute I saw Chubs (that's what I ended up calling him) I new he had to go home with us. Chubs is 17 years old now and is my large, lazy, warm and cozy buddy. He is still playful for such a big cat and I can't imagine not having him hanging around the house with me. I love Chubs and I think because of him I'll always be a cat person. My experience with Chubs has shown me that cats are independent, and intelligent, and in Chub's case; affectionate and a complete joy to be around.
