My American Bobtail - Cat

Cat is an absolute sweetheart (yes, her name is actually Cat!). I got her when she was 5 weeks old when I saw one of my neighbors was giving kittens away. Ever since she was a baby she would love to play, and lucky for her, I loved have a cute little kitten to play with! She is and always has been a very independent cat. I used to let her go outdoors whenever she pleased and she never bothered me much - up until she got pregnant.

She got pregnant at around 1 year old, and I had never had a pregnant cat before, nor did I know the first thing to do when the time came for her to give birth. Thankfully, nature took it's toll and she handled the birth all on her own. Despite being as young as she was, Cat has always, always been an amazing Mama to her kittens.

Pros:
Very dependent
Natural loving mother
Absolutely adorable

Cons:
Very hyper - always meowing or pawing at me to play.
Constantly cries at the door to be let outside - she is no longer an outside cat

All in all I would recommend an American Bobtail to any cat lover!
