We received Bob the bob-tailed cat when I was five years old, so I grew up with this cat. As a kitten, I remember Bob being very playful and was a lot of fun for a five year old kid. After around age five or so he lost interest in playing, but he always enjoyed the company of people. He wasn't needy for attention; a few times a day he would request some rubbing but nothing extensive. He was very friendly with our dogs but was somewhat aggressive towards animals that did not live on our property. Bob had a small weight problem, but he was always able to move around well. Bob may have had the few small problems listed above, but overall he was a wonderful pet.
