Mattie Cat!

I don't even know where to begin with Mattie. Well, first I'll explain the name, and get the negative out of the way immediately. She's Mattie, because her fur is CONSTANTLY matted. She's super fluffy and should really be groomed daily or at least every other day.
For us, though, this isn't even a negative because she is such a wonderful, amusing, friendly, and outgoing cat. She has the best personality! When we come home, she greets us at the door with the dogs and meows as though she's filling us in on her whole day. She'll come when you call her, and stop doing something if you tell her "no." Every night at bed time, she sleeps right on top of me, like an added heated blanket. Being a stray, we're not sure of her exact age, however she's at least 13 years old. Except you would NEVER know by the way she behaves and interacts with people and plays with toys. She's a constant kitten. I just love Mattie so much, and she's my best pal. I highly recommend this breed to anyone who doesn't mind wielding a brush pretty often, because they're just awesome cats.
