Mathilda is the newest member to the family, and is still working on really settling in. She was found in the gutter outside of a walmart and brought in to the sanctuary I work at.
I'm still not sure how I was talked into taking her. My house is full. My house wa full three animals ago.
And yet here Mathilda is, making herself known a queen. The other cats bow down to her and the dogs, well, the dogs could care less. The point is she's on top of te food chain when it comes to the other kitties. She is feisty and short tempered, ad doesn't hesitate to use claws if it will get her point across.
Mathilda like to play when she wants to play, and at no other point does she want to play. If this fact is confused, be prepared for claws.
Needless to say we are still working on this and our spray bottles are getting a lot of use.
She isn't very vocal, but I think it's partially because she doesn't actually know how to meow. Mathilda makes these little half noises deep in her throat and chatters her teeth, but has never once yowled, howled, or meowed. I'm still lookin into whether or not this is common with the breed.
