My cat Rudik has become an integral part of my life. In contrast to most of the cats he appreciates freedom. It is a privilege to pet him, yet he always tries to show it. Quite a difficult character, you should just respect his space. What I admire about Rudik is that he washes himself at least a hundred times a day. As I joke he wants to keep his hairstyle perfect. Tenderness wakes up in the cat closer to the night-time. Sometimes you can't help but wonder whether this needy creature is really your pet. I would encourage everyone to have such a companion, he will brighten up even the gloomiest of days.
