The basics:
The Gallina de Raza Sobrarbe is an older breed, that was developed in the region of Sobrarbe, Spain. The breed was reported to be critically endangered in 1995, and since then a conservation program was started. Under, Dr. Amadeu Francesche, pure varieties of this breed have been discoverd, founded and standardized.
