The Lined Dartfish has a grey body with black and blue horizontal stripes. The fish has pronounced pectoral fins.

Temperament:
These are timid, especially in the presence of larger fish, and therefore, not compatible with aggressive fish.
Housing:
These fish are best housed in a 30-gallon tank, with a sand bottom to allow them to burrow. They require ample swimming space. They are active jumpers, so the tank needs to be tightly sealed to ensure that they do not jump out.
