Appearance:
Knight Gobies are small fishes with a base color of very light gray to pale silver. It has a speckled pattern of small black spots all over the body. The pectoral, anal, and tail fins have white tips and the dorsal fin has a large black marking.

Knight Gobies are territorial; therefore, they are best kept alone unless the tank is large enough to accommodate the territorial needs of many.
Housing:
Knight Gobies are best kept in brackish water tanks of at least 20 gallons. The substrate must be sand and the tank must have several hiding places like caves and driftwood, especially if there are more than one Knight Gobies in the tank. Lighting should not be too bright. They are particular about water quality; therefore, good filtration and diligent maintenance routines are recommended.
