The basics:
The Pearl Danio is a tropical fish belonging to the minnow family (Cyprinidae). The Pearl Danio is an extremely hardy fish, which is easy to care for, and makes an excellent beginner fish.

Appearance:
The Pearl Danio can have a brownish-yellow, pink or a silver body, and two light yellow/white or blue/red stripes. It has an iridescent look. The fish has two pairs of barbels.

Size:
0-3 inches

Temperament:
Pearl Danios are peaceful, and well suited to community tanks with other small to medium sized fish.

Housing:
Pearl Danios prefers long spacious tanks with plenty of swimming room. A 20 gallon tank is recommended. They can live happily in pairs, but ideally should be kept in shoals of 6 or more.
