Is this dog right for you?

Species group:

Other name(s): Bichomo

The basics:
RightPet does not advocate the intentional cross-breeding of purebred dogs. But the reality is that most dogs available for adoption at shelters and rescues are mixed breeds. We think it might be helpful to hear from owners of these mixes to see what traits can be found in these dogs who are desperately needing homes.

The first generation Bichomo is a cross between a pure American Eskimo Dog and a pure Bichon Frise, although subsequent generations may have different proportions of the two breeds in the mix. This so-called designer hybrid is intended to create an apartment-sized pet that fits easily into many families.

Appearance / health:
While all mixed-breed dogs can vary in appearance, the Bichomo is going to be cute white dog. Whether the coat is straight or curly or a mix of both seems to be a matter of chance.

Behavior / temperament:
While it's impossible to predict the exact personality of a mixed-breed dog, the Bichomo is likely to be a cute, active, people-centered dog that demands attention.
