Timneh African Grey - Great Pet, Lots of Attention

I owned a Timneh African Grey Parrot for two years. While he was in my family home he was very friendly, outgoing, occasionally loud and obnoxious, but very fun and social. When I moved to an apartment by myself, he became secluded, stressed, and pulled his feathers. I chose to adopt him out to a family with five children (the same family size he came from to me). As far as I know he adapted well and is well taken care of. The only thing I'd suggest is that you be ready to clean plenty of messes up... along with the waste and feathers, these birds will throw seed and food they don't like and will cause quite a mess. Also, my bird would sound fire alarm sounds if no one was paying attention to him... he was quite the attention hog and was VERY smart!!
