I love my Nandays - all ages included.  They are beautiful alarm birds.  Great with their chosen person, fair with others - unless someone threatens their people!  Then they can be quite ferocious. Had one who hates my kids, will dive bomb them in a heartbeat, yet another is a true lover.  Persistance is a trait of these birds.  If they think you need to be up - you had better plan on getting up.  If loose they will pull hair, pester and otherwise bug you, if cages they will scream and talk and scream more.  These birds woulds love to be dentists - have a tooth needing pulled - they would love to try, food in your teeth - open winde and they will get it.  (no I do not allow as this can be dangerous for them).  They are beautiful and loud.  Good eaters, active, can learn to mimic phones and even tell the phone "hello, yes, humm, that is ok, ok, see you later, goodby" when they hear the phone ring.

I love them but their voices tend to be high pitched and ear shattering.
