I had my little guy for about five years (He lives with my mom now) and he was a really cute little friend. We tried some training stuff we saw on youtube and heard about but you need to put in a lot more hours than we did to really see results. He loved to sing and cat whistle which was pretty funny. I really like having a bird, especially if you can't have a cat or dog where you live. Feeding him was easy but you have to be really on top of cleaning. My mom takes the entire cage apart at least once a week to clean every surface. He loves his daily shower too. Just squirting him with some lukewarm water from a spray bottle makes him really happy. I've heard these guys do really well in pair which I would suggest. He definitely likes company and would enjoy a friend. He lets you kiss him and put him against your face, which is huge for my family. We like really affectionate animals! I'd suggest getting a young one so you can mold them and train them. But I think some older ones are already sweet and know some fun tricks. He loves his toys and ladders in his cage and likes to climb around on top of his cage too!
