Green Cheeked Conures are fun and entertaining birds which just big enough to not be too finicky and not too big to be unmanageable. They are loveable and easy to train to do simple tricks. They are very clean birds and let you know before they are about to do a poo by waddling backwards just before. This bird would make a great companion for someone that doesn't have a huge amount of space. They do best in pairs and I wouldn't recommend the keeping them alone, especially if you cannot be with them at all times. Highly recommended but please do your homework and research before purchasing one.

Hi Rob. I just put a deposit down on a Golden Conure. Fell in love with the one in the shop. Will be until summer that I will be able to have mine. Person in shop said they were quiet enough for an apartment, but I have read on line that they are very noisy like most all conures. Now I'm worried and the green cheeked seems better. What is your experience with noise? Thanks.
