I found Diamond doves baby out side my house it was wounded I brought him/her home and applied medicine didn't know what was its exact age maybe 1-2 months in starting bird was afraid of me it seems to be shy bird but with the time it settle with me and family. That bird stayed with me for 8 months and it became friendly to my family too, Its a cute, peaceful bird don't make lot of noise good bird to keep indoor, but I didn't find any other diamond dove in pet shops so I gave it to a who had some more doves so it can find a partner to mate and live happily.

"It can be a good choice as a pet for older children who understand the need to be calm and gentle with companion."

These birds require plenty of attention and socialization, these birds seem to be more naturally suited to interacting with humans than some other bird species, and tend to be easier for novice bird owners to tame and bond with. They have charming personalities and with proper care they can entertainment, love, and companionship.
