Singing In the Shower

So we got Stonewall from a pet store when I was a kid (approx. 13 yrs. old). He was a great bird. He loved to mimic my mother's laugh, and we also taught him various singing and whistling toons to which he did a great job of mimicking well. He was very lovable, and smart. My only regret was we did not vocalize, and let him free enough. He passed suddenly one morning (we found him at the bottom of the cage) to an unknown cause. My other cockatiel (female) had a similar passing, and we still to this day do not know what caused it :(.

They are great companions if you don't mind the constant care (picking up poop, and feeding, and cleaning cage). If you are interested in one, please keep this in mind, as well as they do need attention, and playing. They are smart birds, and love to be social. Don't leave them caged without attention, they don't deserve it.

As a side note (hence the reason for the title) we used to bring Stoney in the shower with us and he would sing as we showered!! Can't make this up!

Happy Singing!
