Cockatiels in general are a beautiful breed, with striking markings and adorable cheeks that remind you of a cartoon character. They have interested, intelligent-looking eyes and like to bounce around and chirp throughout the day. The downsides I noticed during my stint with Officer Farva was that he very much enjoyed being vocal, ear-piercingly so, to the point where we had many headaches from the chirping. If you are the type to be more inclined towards consistent bird noises, or just like the ambient sound, this might be the bird for you.
He also never quite came around to other people, although his main handler could care for him without any effort. To strangers he was always quick to bite and quicker to sound the alarm.
