We had a couple of these birds over the years and enjoyed them very much.

They were great with the kids and cats and dogs. We even let her loose inside the house to fly around and she did fine. She stayed away from the other animals but was not afraid of them.

She loved to sing and talk which we all enjoyed very much. When her cage was covered she was very quiet.

One problem we had was that she laid at least an egg a day for months on end. Since there was no male with her we would have to remove the eggs which she was not happy about. We ended up tipping her nest box a little bit so the eggs would roll out on to the floor. She was very broody and wanted to hatch those eggs so bad!
