I first got Hazel not knowing she was a male but by this time he knew his name so we kept it for his sake. Not long after having Hazel I had an opportunity to get another cockatiel and we loved Hazel so much we thought why not extend the family. Peanut was just a small baby when we got her and it took some time for Hazel and peanut to like each other. Peanut had a beautiful voice and chirped all the time. Hazel on the other hand loved to talk and mimic anything. He always said good morning and I love you oh and always told us he was a pretty bird. My experience with these to wonderful birds was amazing and would get two more. When I moved out of the country I found them a loving home where they never needed to be in a cage again. They actually got a bedroom to themselves. I was very happy knowing they were going to have such freedom to fly around and well taken care of.
