My Cockatiel just what I needed at that time in my life. We became best of friends. She would "kiss" my tongue when I extended it to her. In all the years I had her she never bit me. She was constantly on my shoulder or in her home which was a cage big enough to be called 3 stories high. She also had a nesting box attached to the cage to lay her eggs. After 2-3 days I would take the eggs out of the box as they were not fertilized and were not going to hatch. If I didn't remove them she would be made crazy from forever sitting on the eggs that won't hatch. Over the years that became our routine. After the first time I clipped her wings I never did it again as I had no problems controlling her. She was my best friend.
