Chico is a Pied Cockatiel that I bought from a breeder along with his brother.  He is a very cute little guy.  Chico loves to be with me and when I walk past his cage he will call to me and climb to the door of his cage.  The good things about him is that he is very affectionate and sweet. He is also very friendly with everyone he meets.  Here is some info on Tiels'-Cockatiels need at least two hours everyday out of their cage socializing with you.Sound level low to moderate..They are smart and can learn tricks, to whistle, and some can learn to talk. The four main colors are Grey, Pied, Pearl, and Latino.A cage would run anywhere from $60- as big as you can afford, look on ebayMin. cage dimensions: 20x20x26 (larger preferred)Bar spacing: up to 1/2"The bird will range from $50-$100 different colors are more expensive. They live from 15-20 years.Good pellet diet food, Millet spray, Mineral block, Water bottle for mist baths, different perches, and Toys will be around $60-$90. Expect to spend around $200-$250

Birds can be expensive pets I spend around $15-$20 a month just on toys for my two boys.  Toys are essential to having birds without them they get bored and will scream and pluck their body bear.  My boys and a lot of other tiels loves shredable toys it keeps them busy for hours.  I have to buy food every 2 and a half months or so and that can get pricey as well I feed Nutri-berries.  It is a very healthy Cockatiel food.  I would recommend a Tiel to a person that wants a pet that they can sit with and baby.  Who also has at least two hours a day to spend with the bird and also has an income that allows the birds to have everything it needs.
