Colourful Personality

This little guy was a colourful addition to our family! He had a beautiful coat and loved to be vocal, he never learned how to mimic or sing, but he was still a delight. He wasn't much of a family pet, he favored my mother and cooed when she entered the room. Whenever he was out of the cage he would spend most of his time perched on my mothers head. There were days when she was the only one who could handle him as he would occasionally bite (it was painless) anyone else who handled him.
He loved bath time (being spritzed lightly with a spray bottle), he liked to spread his wings at bath time, close his eyes and try catch the water with his tongue.
Charlie could be a little bit of a show off, spreading his wings out, banging his head and singing whenever he felt ignored! He was a true rocker!
As I've mentioned he was a delight to keep clean, his cage was relatively easy to clean as well, he was never a messy bird. Out of the cage he was prone to pooping everywhere (normal for any bird) and he loved to chew anything including wallpaper!
Bedtime was not his favourite time of day, it could take forever to get him back in his cage, but once he was in he was calm and quiet.
To sum up, he was pretty much a one-person pet, but he was definitely a lively and interesting friend, possibly ideal for someone living on their own or a couple.
Positives: bright cheery, easy to clean, colouful personality,
Negatives: destroyer of wallpaper! Not so keen on children, can be very loud
